If you contact us by email, your details (e.g. email address, name and message content) are processed solely to handle and respond to your enquiry.

We process your data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to ensure IT security, error-free operation of the website and privacy-friendly reach measurement.
  • Contract initiation or performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — where your contact by email or via our contact form is aimed at concluding a contract or preparing a quotation.

4. Storage period

Server log files:

For security reasons (e.g. investigating abuse or fraud), these data are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. Data that must be retained for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

Contact enquiries:

Data from email enquiries are deleted once the conversation has ended and the matter has been finally resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Statistics:

Anonymised usage statistics (Umami) do not contain personal data and are retained permanently for system optimisation.

6. Third-party providers (hosting)

For secure, encrypted and reliable operation of our website we use the following infrastructure providers with whom we have concluded data processing agreements (DPAs):

STRATO AG — hosting of web infrastructure and domain services. Processing takes place in ISO 27001-certified data centres in Germany in full compliance with the GDPR.

7. Data security

We use TLS/HTTPS for data transmission over the network. Access to our server infrastructure is strictly limited to authorised Carinno GmbH personnel.

8. Web analytics and cookies

Cookies:

We do not use cookies on this website (neither technically necessary nor tracking cookies) and do not use comparable local storage technologies (e.g. Local Storage) in your browser. A cookie consent banner is therefore not legally required.

Web analytics (Umami):

For privacy-friendly analysis of website usage we use the open-source tool Umami, hosted entirely on our own servers in Germany. No cookies are stored on your device and no personal data (such as your full IP address) are permanently recorded or transmitted to third parties. The IP address is anonymised (truncated) immediately upon collection.

9. Supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. You may contact the authority responsible for our registered office: The Baden-Württemberg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LfDI Baden-Württemberg), or the supervisory authority at your habitual residence or place of work.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time so that it always meets current legal requirements.

Information or descriptions on this website relating to our product “klingel.ink” are provided for information purposes only. As no registration, use or data processing in connection with the platform named takes place via this website, no data processing applies in this respect. For subsequent independent use of this service, only the separate privacy policy published on the respective platform applies.
