Klingeling is an anonymous communication service based on standard QR codes. By scanning the QR code placed on the back of a parking disc or on a tag with a smartphone, others can easily and anonymously contact the vehicle or item owner by email or SMS; with the owner’s consent, a direct phone call is also possible. More importantly, for a more reliable service, users can set their preferred contact method – via the online dashboard or by dial selection (Carinno Disc Choice).

Contact code: printed on the back of the parking disc – for linking a vehicle, e.g. for parking or relocation scenarios. Item code: attached to a hanging tag; scanning lets others contact the owner directly. Each user can have multiple item codes and link multiple vehicles.
Whether you're busy, parking briefly or charging: if you're unavailable – for example in a meeting or on a plane – the Klingeling assistant can automatically reply to selected messages based on your settings, avoiding unnecessary disturbance. If you're less familiar with the parking disc, the parking disc assistant helps you set the time and run a timer (enter the allowed parking duration). If an item is lost, the assistant supports more efficient communication so you can recover important belongings faster.
If you're unsure how to set up or place your parking disc, the parking disc assistant can help. If you've set the allowed parking duration at your parking location, Klingeling can remind you by email or SMS before time runs out – helping you avoid parking tickets.
If an important item is lost, users can immediately open the item loss assistant. When someone finds it and scans the item code, they instantly receive the owner and item information you configured. Owners can optionally offer the finder a small thank-you reward.
If you’re only parking briefly for a few minutes, you can set an estimated shorter parking time here, or tap “On my way back” when you head back. The short-stop reply automatically replies with your estimated return time or that you’re on your way – reducing the other person’s waiting anxiety.
When charging at a public charging station, you can set up an automatic charging time reply. Other users automatically receive the remaining charging time. Just one tap – making electric mobility more convenient for everyone!
Email contact between users is permanently free. SMS: 12 messages for €3.99 (incl. VAT, free shipping as a digital download, valid for 24 months from activation). Phone: direct call between users – Klingeling does not provide a call service and does not charge call fees.
When communicating by email or SMS, neither party discloses personal information. Personal contact details are only shared if you explicitly agree. For more information, see the Klingeling privacy policy.
Users can delete their personal account in the dashboard. After deletion, all messages are no longer retained and cannot be recovered.
